For Club Max Zummatra was invited to bring to life a humorous concept where four cookies “defeat hunger.” Transforming the original idea of costume characters into fully CGI personalities, we crafted a fun, charming, and visually distinctive universe that elevated the brand’s storytelling. Despite a fast-paced production, our precise coordination between talent, direction, and postproduction resulted in an engaging spot whose characters became a lasting brand icon — now featured across billboards, digital content, and packaging.
Brief &
Objectives
The Central American agency WILD invited Zummatra to produce a commercial for Club Max cookies. Unlike its competitors, each Club Max package contains four cookies instead of three: a simple yet powerful differentiator that became the foundation for the campaign’s core message: “4 cookies to defeat your hunger.”
Production
Challenge
The client requested a humorous commercial where four cookie characters, originally envisioned as people in costumes, would defeat hunger in a playful, direct way. In the story, hunger was portrayed as a wrestler, while the cookies would triumph over it through humor and exaggeration; a fun and highly relatable metaphor for the brand’s promise.

Creative
Approach
Zummatra elevated the initial concept by reimagining the four cookies through CGI instead of traditional costumes. This creative decision allowed us to craft a more expressive, charming, and cinematic personality for each cookie — characters that were not only funny, but also endearing and visually distinctive.
Execution
The production required meticulous on-set coordination and a fast turnaround. We held rehearsals with the actors to precisely map the spatial positioning of each CGI cookie before filming. This demanded seamless teamwork between directing, camera, and on-site postproduction crews to ensure every interaction felt authentic once the digital characters were integrated.
Impact
The CGI cookie characters became an instant hit, quickly evolving into a long-term brand asset. What started as a commercial execution transformed into an identity element for Club Max — now appearing on billboards, digital content, and even product packaging across the region.
