Context
& Idea

Spring Break is all about conquest. But while thousands of foreigners arrive in Mexico ready to flirt, Mexicans are usually the ones trying to make the first move. Harmon Hall wanted to turn that dynamic upside down — and prove that learning English could give Mexicans a different kind of advantage: knowing exactly what to say when someone comes looking for them.

The answer: Conquer Guide. A humorous guide to surviving Spring Break by teaching Mexicans the ultimate language of attraction — English. Because this time, Mexicans weren’t coming to conquer. They were coming to be conquered.

Art & Design

We brought the concept to life as a series of vintage-style comedy spots inspired by 1960s instructional films. A bartender, DJ, bodybuilder, lifeguard and surfer became our unlikely English teachers — and for every character we developed a dedicated visual universe: casting, wardrobe, props, styling and a custom-built mini set, all designed to recreate the exaggerated aesthetics of classic ’60s educational and lifestyle films.

Social
Campaign

The characters spoke directly to camera, breaking the fourth wall and delivering their flirting advice with the overly-serious confidence of a vintage instructional film — while unexpected interactions and comedic situations turned each lesson into entertainment. The result was a series that made learning English feel less like a class and more like a secret weapon for Spring Break, built around characters people could instantly understand, remember and share.

The Impact

Conquer Guide turned English lessons into entertainment. By combining Harmon Hall’s educational purpose with a recognizable vintage comedy language, the campaign created a distinctive content series with one mission: teach Mexico how to flirt in English — and finally let them be the ones getting conquered.
